University of Southern Indiana Visitor's Guide



The University of Southern Indiana is a one of a kind college. It is known as one of the nicest colleges in Indiana. The University of Southern Indiana is located in Evansville, IN. Evansville is a city with many things to do. USI is a really clean campus. The building are very nice and the equipment in it is also up to date. The newest building to be added on to the number of buildings on campus is the Rice Library. The library is the latest and greatest. The library has Computers, Books, and anything else you would need to do research.


The dorms on campus are also very nice. They are some of the biggest dorms in Indiana. Incoming freshmen are suggested to live in a dorm their first year. The dorms also have laundry rooms. There are also computer labs on each floor, that students can use to do schoolwork on.
The University Center is the building in which students get food and school supplies. The UC has four places from which you can get food. The UC has a Burger King, Sub Connection, and a Pizza place. The UC also has seating where you can dine-in. If you want you can also get your food to go.

The Recreation Center is the best building on the campus. If you enjoy sports, you will love this building. This building is located right next to the Newman Dorms. On the top floor there is a running track. On the main floor there is the front desk, a room for workout classes, and a pool table. The lower level presents two full court basketball courts. Both have goals with breakaway rims. The floor is hardwood. Next, you have the weightliftng area. This has all the machines you could imagine. Any muscle you want to work on, the recreation center has a weight-machine for you. The recreation center also has a ping-pong table on the lower level.




The Physical Activities Center or PAC is where the USI mens basketball team plays. It is right nixt to the recreation center. It has three full court basketball courts. It also has a pool. The pool also has a diving board. The recreational basketball league called "Rim Rockers" is held in the PAC.
